Professor Kuo-Liang Ou obtained his Ph.D. in Information Engineering from National Central University 2001. His research aims at VR/AR, machine learning, and educational technologies. He holds a professorship at the Institute of Learning Sciences and Technologies at National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), where he also serves as the Director of the Institutional Research (IR) Center. Professor Ou’s prior roles include the Head of the Computer Network Center, Director of the Library, Director of the Institute of Human Resource Development, and Vice Dean of Student Affairs at National Hsinchu University of Education (NHCUE) and NTHU. In recent years, Professor Ou has focused his research on digital humanities, particularly analyzing the impact of immersive human-computer interfaces on learning behaviors. He has published several papers in journals indexed in SCI, SSCI, TSSCI, and EI, and actively engages in international conferences and academic community exchanges. Over the past decade, he has continuously led significant projects such as “National Preschool Information Web,” “National Community College Information Web,” and “National After-School Care Service Center Information Web” of the Ministry of Education (MoE). These projects involve system design, data collection, and analysis to provide decision-making with visualized analytical reports to the MoE.
區國良教授在2001年取得中央大學資訊工程博士，研究專長包含虛擬/擴增實境、機器學習、學習科技以及自然語言處理，目前為國立清華大學學習科學與科技研究所教授，兼任校務研究中心主任；曾經擔任國立新竹教育大學計算機網路中心組長、圖書館館長、人力資源發展研究所所長以及國立清華大學副學務長等職。區國良教授近年的研究著重在學習科技相關領域，成果發表於 SCI、SSCI、TSSCI、EI 等期刊，並積極參與國內外研討會與學術社群交流。近十年來陸續主持教育部「全國教保資訊網」、「全國社區大學資訊網」以及「全國課後照顧服務中心資訊網」等計畫案，分析教育場域中之巨量資料及視覺化分析，具有豐富的研究及實務經驗。目前熱衷於智慧型對話機器人輔助學習系統，期望能建構出有效培養學生批判性思考能力之學習模式。
